Kevin Donnelly Obituary
Kevin passed away November 10, 2018 in Seattle. He was born July 4, 1964 in Seattle to Patrick J. Donnelly and Joan Donnelly. Kevin was a graduate of Kennedy High School, Seattle University and Willamette Law School. He was a criminal defense lawyer in Seattle. He was known at the courthouse as a skillful litigator, but personally as a kind person. He was loved by all his friends and was always available to help people. He was an instructor in the Mountaineers Club, teaching navigation skills. Kevin was an avid skier and backpacker, loved the mountains, classical music, ancient history and living at Alki. Kevin will be missed by his family and all of his dear friends.
Kevin was predeceased in death by his mother. He is survived by his father Patrick Donnelly (Virginia) his sister Shawn Donnelly (Mary Lou Siebert) and his brother Michael Donnelly (Audrea) and nephews Evan and Matthew Donnelly.
Funeral Mass November 30, 11:00 a.m. St. Mark Catholic Church in Shoreline.
Reception following Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mountaineers or Seattle University.

I'm very sad to hear that Kevin passed away. I was a public defender in King County where Kevin and I crossed paths many times in many courts over many years. Kevin was one of the nicest people I met during that time. He had the kindest eyes, smile, and manner. My heart hurts for his family, friends, and community. He will be missed by more people than any of us can know. Wishing you comfort and peace in your mourning.
