Luther JOHNSON 2/20/24 ~ 6/3/11 Luther was born in Northwood, ND. After a struggle with Alzheimer's then a stroke in May, he died peacefully at Anderson Nursing House. Bernice, his loving wife of 51 years and one of his close friends were at his side. Preceded in death by his parents Martin and Josephine and his older brother Norman, Luther is also survived by his sisters Adeline Halvorson and Agnes Ostlie and loving nieces and nephews in Vashon, Shoreline, Olympia, ND and FL. Luther retired from Boeing after 32 years enjoying 28 years of retirement. There were no children but, Luther will be remembered by the many people whose lived he touched. He enjoyed 53 years of sobriety and was a grateful, active member of A.A. known for starting many meetings and sponsoring enumerable people. A 'fellowship' memorial will be held at 11:30AM on Thursday6/16/2011 at the Swedish Club at 1920 Dexter Ave N, Seattle.
