Marjorie was born on February 4, 1929 in Max, North Dakota. She passed away peacefully December 25, 2017 (age 88) in Mountlake Terrace, WA. She had been suffering from a long battle with Non-Diabetic Neuropathy, Emphysema and Dementia. Marjorie and her 5 siblings grew up in Max, ND where she met her husband Dwain Sorenson. They were married on October 30, 1951. Marjorie graduated with a Business Education degree from Minot State Teacher's College (now Minot State Univ.). In 1959 they moved the family of five children to Seattle. Dwain and Marge had two more children and settled in the Shoreline area where they raised their seven children, Belinda Riba, Roger, Greg, Daryl [died August 8, 2017], David (Leslie), Trish (Michele) and Jim (Nathalie). Marjorie lost her husband Dwain on January 6, 2004.

Marjorie will be missed and

remembered by many including six remaining children; 14 grand-children; 15 great-grandchildren; her last surviving sibling Mary (Huettl) Larson; many nieces and nephews; cousins and other relatives and friends.

Marjorie dedicated her life to her family. Family came first for everything and she gave everything she had to her family. She was known as a very loving, honest, caring and selfless person. Everyone she met felt her love and in turn, cared for her.

There will be a service honoring

Marjorie at Beck's Funeral Home

in Edmonds on Sat, Jan 6, at 12:30 pm. Following the service there will be a celebration of life at the Mountlake Terrace Community Senior Center.
