Obituary Condolences

Marjorie WATT Marjorie Watt was born in Bremerton, and lived in Seattle most of her 98 years of life. Many of those early years were spent at Canton Alley within Seattle's Chinatown. Although those years were considered challenging, many recollections were filled with fond memories and innovative ventures. Marjorie and her husband Ralph took over the C&H grocery store near Alki Beach in West Seattle. The C&H grocery eventually became the Golden Sun Restaurant. Marjorie actively participated in the aerobic exercises offered at Alki Community Center. She traveled frequently to Asia and Europe with her niece Gertrude. Her youngest brother James Louie who currently lives in Oakland, CA survives Marjorie. Her loving husband Ralph Watt and nine siblings predecease her. Those siblings are Jennie, Alma, Peter, Fannie, Paul, Rosa, Esther, Phillip and Lily. Services will be held at Bleitz Funeral Home at 11AM on Saturday January 29th. In lieu of flowers, please consider some of Marjorie's favorite charities. They include Kin On Health Care Center, Northwest Kidney Center, The Millionaire Charity Club and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
