Obituary Condolences

Dr. Max D. DAVIS March 27, 1918 (Utah) ~ May 17, 2011 (Seattle) Served in the US Air Force as bomber pilot during WWII. Attended the University of Utah, University of Washington and Dental School at Northwestern University and practiced dentistry in the Seattle area for 35 years. Retired to St. George, Utah and Eugene, Oregon. Died after a short illness due to natural causes. Preceded in death by his first wife, Enid Howarth. Survived by his5 children: Scott (Sandra), Jan Gobin (Raymond), George (Jeanette), Kirk (Allison), Alice McPhee (Bryce); 22 grandchildren;22+ great-grandchildren; 2 step-children: Jay and Holli; 5 step-grandchildren; and second wife, Linda Taunton; and two brothers, John R. and Thomas. Max left a legacy of hard work, generosity, and service to others. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 4:00p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 200th South 177th Place, Burien, Washington. He will be buried in Nephi, Utah on June 17, 2011.
