Mike was one of my two best friends at Rainier Beach High school.
I'll always remember - driving all over Seattle with Mike, Bruce McBride and me (the 3 Musketeers) in my '57 Chev wagon, just barely staying out of trouble; Friday & Saturday nights parked at Joe's drive-in looking for a party; sneaking Old Granddad whiskey from his parents house and beach parties at their cabin in Moclips.
I wish we had not drifted apart after the service - he in the Navy and me in Air Force. I still and will always think of Mike forever as my teenage buddy from RB.
