Phyliss Wallace Obituary

Phyliss L. WALLACE 2/13/1917 - 9/21/2006 Beloved wife, mother and grandma. She will be remembered for her positive attitude and sense of humor. Phyliss was born in Seattle to Esther Tate and Henry Brickell and had two sisters, Annie and Irene (Beanie). She went to West Seattle High School and married Henry (Hank) Wallace in 1937. They were married 42 years, until his death in 1980. Phyliss worked as a bookkeeper. She is survived by her son, Gary, daughter-in-law, Kris, and grandkids, John, Kelly and Amanda. We all loved her so much and will always remember how wonderful she was to all of us. Best neighbor we ever had. I will remember with great fondness our gatherings on the back patio in the summer, and Phyllis regaling us with all kinds of stories about everything under the sun. She was so nice to the kids, who knew her as "Grandma Phyllis". We will miss her.
