Beacon Hill Soccer continues to miss Bob in our membership. We strive to focus on our shared ideas and values that put our children's needs first. Bob played an important role in that mission.

Bob was a gentle man with a quiet brilliance and passion in all things he engaged upon. Peace.

Bob was a true friend of the children and families who played soccer in Seattle. He was an active volunteer for McGilvra, Seattle Youth Soccer Association, and Beacon Hill Youth Soccer. As members of Beacon Hill Soccer, Bob and I shared an interest in helping low income & immigrant kids find a team so they could join the greater community in the joys of the world's greatest sport. Bob shared his personal resources and his time to attend to the details of managing our soccer programs for many years. He was smart and compassionate. He lives on as a legend in our soccer community across the city. We miss him dearly.

I was a patient of Dr. Sigley's in the mid-80s. He was compassionate and his concerns went beyond the surgery itself. A doctor told me he is very good and very avent-garde. I think of him fondly and am grateful I that I was his patient.

I met Bob in August 1979 when I began my surgery rotation with him at Swedish. Bob taught the importance of the surgical literature, critical thinking, and attention to detail. I did many an AV fistula or revision with Karl and Bob. They were excellent mentors. I'm saddened by his passing but pleased to hear of his eternal destination. Dana was a special person and exceptional nurse. I'm happy they will be together again.

Second attempt to post in honor of my longtime friend Bob Sigley. Met Bob in the seventies working in the OR at Swedish Hospital. He was our Chief Surgical Resident and such a role model for me as I was amazed to learn of his accomplishments leading up to his final year of medical/surgical training. Many early AM tennis matches and late night emergency surgery bonded us as good friends. Brilliant guy who was always thinking ahead. My best to his family who has been richly infused with his love and genius...I'm sure.
