Robert (Bob) R. Anchondo

Born July 8, 1932 in Anthony, New Mexico; died January 29, 2019 in Seattle, WA. He passed away while flying to Seattle from his home in Tucson, he was with his wife and granddaughters.

He served in the US Navy 8 years and was trained as an electrical engineer. Married his beloved Betty June in 1954 and they raised their family in Seattle. He made his career working at Otis Elevator Company and then United Technologies; He traveled the world lending his expertise to the elevator industry. He retired in 2000 to his desert home in Arizona.

Robert is survived by Betty June (Scheuerman), his loving wife of 65 years; along with his four children, Lillian Tanguay (James Tanguay), Linda Anchondo (Marty Jackson), Mary Frances Anchondo (Paul MacCready) and Robert Richard Anchondo (Janet Taylor, predeceased); 6 grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer, Rachel, Cody, Jake and Grace; 4 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Socorro (Hector Franco), Armando (Grace), Amelia and their families.

Funeral Mass will be held

Thursday, February 7 at 11:00 AM

St. Luke Catholic Church

322 N 175th St, Shoreline 98133
