Roberta Louise Hirsch Obituary
Roberta Louise Hirsch

Roberta Louise Hirsch, our wonderful, "Bobbi", passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. A perfect tribute, just as she would have wanted, at home, holding court and surrounded by her family telling her how much they loved her. She was born on May 25, 1945. She follows her mother and her father in passing, Gabriel and Frimeth Bensussen, and she is survived by her husband of 51 year, Irving Hirsch, her children, Julie Hirsch and Geoff Hirsch (wife, Rise`), grandchildren Maximus Hirsch and Ava Hirsch, and sisters, Rhoda Bensussen, Helene Hauptli (husband, Gary), Leslie Wilcox, and many beautiful nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bobbi was a fearless and funny woman who loved family, dogs, and animals, almost as much as she loved her jewelry! She had a sharp wit and great sense of humor. She cherished being a mother and a grandmother. She could make a 5 course meal in under 20 minutes and she never met a slot machine that she didn't like. She enjoyed politics and debating, so if you want to get in to the ring with her, you had to bring your A-game!

She loved Cannon Beach family vacations, and she brought enough food to prepare a continental breakfast for the entire hotel. She was an avid knitter, loved adult coloring, and she was passionate about family and traditions. As her family and friends mourn their loss, they also remember and cherish her life, love, and generous heart.

For a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, she is forever in our hearts with much love, our dear Bobbi.

The funeral was May 25th, 2018 at the Herzl Ner Tamid Jewish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests tributes be made to Herzl Ner Tamid Synagogue or to Kline Galland Hospice.
