Rollie was my teacher and coach at Newport High. But, more than that, he has been an inspiration in my life for nearly 40 years. In 1968 when he signed my drop out sheet, he spoke words that equate to "Never give up." His faith in me has been remembered with much gratitude. Thank you Rollie, the world will be so much more because of you.

Rollie was my teacher and football coach at Interlake (class of 1981) i have nothing but the fondest memories of Coach Rollie. Many times he helped me with life lessons as well as football and even some math i use today
in business. I have used some of his lessons to coach youth football as well. My sincerest thoughts...R.I.P coach. Dan Smith

Rollie was my coach and teacher at Interlake and I have the fondest memories of him. He was a father figure to all his students and players. He touched the lives of so many people, and I'm a better person for knowing him. God Bless Him.

Rollie was my favorite teacher when I was at Interlake. 17 years after graduating from IHS I would see him jogging down Old Redmond Road on my way to work and it would make my morning! He was a wonderful person and I feel fortunate to have met him and had him for a teacher!

I always had great respect for Rollie and enjoyed coaching with him at Bellevue High School. He had a cheerful spirit. He was a great coach and a fine Christian.

Coach Robbins success was the respect and trust developed with the young people he taught. He was the best.

Rollie was a very close friend who coached two of my sons at Interlake. He sincerely cared about the young men who played for him, instilling in his players not only the desire to do their best, but to revere all that team sports offer: caring for others, teamwork, and sportsmanship. His Christian walk never waivered.

I have such wonderful memories of Rollie, as a dear friend to my mom and dad. Our family loved spending time with the Robbins. It was such a nice surprise when my son Steve went to Cedar Park for a year and Rollie was his teacher/mentor - throwing the football around too.
It is so comforting to know he is with his Heavenly Father.
He touched so many lives...
