Obituary Condolences

Sandra ENG Sandra Eng,78, passed on April 7, 2011 in Seattle, WA. Sandra was born on November 2, 1933 in Toisan village in Canton, China. She was born to Thomas T. Chinn, and Fong Ten Ng. She attended Broadway High School, and later married Wai C. Eng in Seattle, on June 24, 1954. In Sandra's early years she worked in her father's restaurant, then stayed home to raise her children, but helped at our family business, the Kau Kau Restaurant, as well as the Kau Kau BBQ Market for many years. She also managed the Korea Ginseng Center. She will forever be remembered, and missed, for her delicious cooking, amazing green thumb, and very, very generous heart to those she loved. Sandra was preceded in death by her sister Janet F. Chinn. She is survived by her loving husband Wai C. Eng, of Seattle; son Clifford Eng of Seattle; daughter Lynn Eng Chang (Richard) of Mercer Island; Grandchildren Justin and Kianna Chang of Mercer Island; sister Lori Chinn of New York, NY; and a brother, Ted Chinn of Renton. Sandra also leaves behind many extended family and friends. The Eng family would like to acknowledge: Swedish Medical Center; the NW Kidney Center, Special Care Unit; Providence Mt. St. Vincent; Washington Care Center; and Season of Life Adult Family Home for their loving care of Sandra during the last two years of her life. Donations can be made to any of these organizations or charity of your choice. A visitation, and reception, will be held at Sunset Hills Funeral Home, 1215 145th Pl SE, Bellevue, WA 98007, on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Sunset Hills Funeral Home. Entombment will follow the chapel service at Sunset Hills Memorial Park. A luncheon will be served after graveside service at the Ocean City Restaurant, 609 S. Weller St., Seattle, WA. Online sentiments may be offered at www.sunset hillsfuneralhome.com.
