Scott John McFARLANE Scott died at the age of 49 on March 4, 2011, surrounded by his family. Born on January 15, 1962 in Seattle, Scott spent most of his life in the Greenlake area. Survived by his parents, Robert and Marlene McFarlane; sister, Shawn (Shane); brother, Steve (Kate); his nieces, Danielle and Danica; and nephew, Gavin. Scott was a sweet kind man with a gentle soul. He loved spending time at the family cabin on Whidbey Island where he found peace and serenity. Scott was a talented artist who excelled in multiple media. He was very adventurous. He lived in Hawaii, sheared sheep in New Zealand, traveled the United States, spent time in India, lived on a sailboat, sailed from Maui to Tahiti and even traveled with the Cirque du Soleil. He accomplished quite a lot in his short life. Life dealt Scott many misfortunes. He fought them all bravely, but in the end cancer was one battle he could not win. We love you Scotty, you will be missed by many. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 12th, at 1:00 p.m. at Hoffner Fisher & Harvey Chapel 508 North 36th St., Seattle Interment, Holyrood Cemetery.
