Sharon (Oishi) Clawson Obituary
Sharon (Oishi) Clawson

Our brave and beautiful sister, aunt and much loved wife completed her journey in the same manner in which she lived; she did it her way. She was a courageous woman and faced her cancer(s) with amazing strength, positive energy and humor. To say we all admired her is a vast understatement.

Born in 1956 and raised in south Seattle, she was a 1974 graduate of Glacier High School and had a 35 year career at Boeing. There she met future husband Jim, and they happily retired in 2013 and hit the road!

Traveling extensively in the U.S. and abroad, they lived life to its fullest and created lasting memories. Ultimately becoming snowbirds, they built their dream home in Mesquite and thereafter hosted a revolving door of friends and family.

Always active, Sharon enjoyed golf, hiking, biking, cross country skiing, softball, bowling, gardening, entertaining - *anything *but sitting. She had many friends, many parties and many, many laughs, always making everyone feel at home wherever she was. It is likely she still is.

She is preceded in death by parents Matsuo and Shizuko and siblings Gladys, Don and Mel.

Survived by Glen (Helen), Jane, Vic (Bonnie), Ron, Linda Bradshaw, Elaine Godfrey (Doug), Dennis (Susan), Sadie, Colleen and numerous nieces and nephews.

Remembrances may be made to a .

And should you ever come across a heart-shaped rock, please think of Sharon and smile.
