Skippy LaRUE April 15, 1921 - December 21, 2003 Skippy LaRue, quintessential entertainer at Seattle's legendary Cabaret, 'The Garden of Allah,' was given a starring role in heavens "Big Musical in the Sky," already sold out for the next millennium. Skippy was an inspiration to everyone who knew him for his remarkable kindness and sweet disposition. A true survivor from an abusive family, he went on to become the consummate singer of Blue Songs from Texas, where he was born, to Seattle where he made his home.
