Obituary Condolences

Steven E. DOLDE Born February 24, 1950, died following an accidental fall at home on May 28, 2011. Steve was raised in Seattle and Richmond Beach, attended high school at St. Martin's in Lacey, followed by the UW. He worked as a civil engineer in design for Snohomish County Public Works. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Karen, and his two daughters Meg and Anna, who were the light of his life. He was proud of everything they did, and was a completely devoted family man. He is also survived by his brother David of West Seattle, with whom he had a strong and loving bond. Other close family include his aunt Mary Agnes McCann, Marguerite, Chris and Hailey Warhol, Carol Arkinstall and family, Richard McCann and family, and David McCann, Geneva Johnson and Kris and John Kaplan of Minnesota, who all loved him dearly. He was a man with many interests, especially music, which he shared with his girls. He loved outdoor adventures with his family, and the friendships he gained from coaching soccer and softball. He lived his life with passion and integrity, and will be missed forever. Celebration of Life will be Saturday June 4th, 2011 at 11:00a.m. at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500-Greenwood Avenue N.
