Obituary Condolences

Timothy James DOUCE Our beloved son T.J. (Timothy James) Douce, 25, passed away on February 2, 2011. TJ grew up in Sammamish, Washington and attended Eastlake and Juanita High School where he graduated in 2003. He proudly served his country in the Army for 4 years with deployment for 14 months in Iraq (Attack Co. 1-38th Bde. 2nd Id Styker Brigade) and was awarded a Commendation Medal and the bronze service star. The many friendships that began from that experience brought to him a special bond of brotherhood that is still there today. He enjoyed sports (GO SEAHAWKS!), movies and good old rock and roll. In life T.J. was a giving soul and in death he will do the same with one last gift of life of organ donation. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Gayle Douce and his brother, Andrew, Fiancée Brittany Oyer, Grandmother Sally Elliott, Uncles and Aunts Scott Mattson (Trish) Jeannie Carney, Kathy Gray, Molly Douce (Carla) and Herb Douce (Dawn) Cousins Carrie, Suzanne, Julie, Will, Zachary, Bonnie, David, Glenn, Isabel, Henry, Michael, Laura, Cody and Maggie and all the many friends that loved him dearly. We are celebrating T.J.'s life on Saturday February 19, 2011 from 1-5 p.m. at the VFW Hall 4330 148th Avenue NE, Redmond, WA Potluck and reception to follow.
