Virgina LaTrace Reynolds GUSTELIUS BRANIGAN 1921 ~ 2011 Virginia died peacefully of natural causes at Forest View Care Facility, Everett, WA on February 14. Born in Minneapolis, MN, she was the only child of Fred and Amy Reynolds. She graduated Valedictorian, South High School '39 and became learned in the art of haute couturier in her mother's LaTrace Dressmaking Shop. In '41 she married George Gustelius, moved to Seattle, and raised their 4 children. She was very involved in the community as President of Maple Leaf PTA, Girl Scouts, and Seattle Mothersingers. They divorced in '59. She married Bernard Branigan in '68. They had no children. Survivors are Virginia's children: Mary Crosby, (Belton, MO) and Jim Crosby, father of their children. Frances Baker and husband Gene Baker, (St Helens, OR). Greg and Nancy Gustelius, (Arlington, WA), Brian Gustelius, (Everett WA) and Becky Squires mother of their children. The prodigy are 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Fulfilling Virginia and George's desire to not raise an only child as they both were. Celebration of Virgina's Life will be Friday, March 11, 2011, 5:00 PM at Claire's Pantry, 125th and Lake City Way, Seattle, WA. A private family inurnment will be at Washelli Mausoleum. Memorials maybe sent to Guide Dogs for the Blind, 32901 SE Kelso Road, Boring OR 97009.
