I only just learned of Michael's passing, and want to tell his family how sorry I am for your loss. He was a wonderful guy, and certainly missed within the yoga community. Had I known, I would have been at the service, but instead am leaving this note.

Initially, I met Michael at Yogalife and continued yoga classes with him at the University's YMCA. What a yogi! I will sorely miss our talks about Chicago, his second chance at life (revived from death at Virgina Mason), trumpet players and creativity, and astrology. Tears fill my heart, as I pray his spiritual passage to the next destination is peaceful, quick, and smooth. Thank you for your joyful spirit, Michael!

I was shocked and dismayed to learn of Michael's passing. He was a great guy and I enjoyed talking to him about opera and movies. When he left Yogalife, he was sorely missed.
