Randi M. JOHNSON Northwest artist Randi Marie Johnson, 56, passed away December 3rd in Soap Lake, WA following a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born in Olympia 5/29/47, Randi was raised in Seattle. She studied art at Queen Anne H.S., U. of Washington, and Washington State U. before committing to painting fulltime. Her ink and watercolor portrayals of Victorian houses, seaside villages and frolicking vegetables were full of stylized whimsy. She was preceded in death by her parents Ken and Ruth Johnson, and is survived by her brother Blaine, sister-in-law Catherine, nephew Aaron, special friends dating back to childhood and a new collection of friends in Soap Lake. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Central Basin Home Health & Hospice, 311 West Third Ave., Moses Lake, WA. 98837.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
