Linda Helen Tellesbo

Linda Helen Tellesbo, 64, a resident of Snohomish, WA, passed away in Seattle, WA on November 3, 2014. She was born in Mt. Vernon, WA on August 29, 1950 grew up on Fir Island, graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1968, attended Skagit Valley Junior College for two years and graduated from Central Washington with majors in business and art. She obtained her MBA from Seattle University.

Linda is the daughter of Alfred and Martha (Waltner) Tellesbo and is survived by her brother John Tellesbo of Florence, AZ, her sister Marsha Tellesbo-Kembel of Redmond, WA, two maternal aunts (Lucille Christianson and Anna King) and numerous cousins.

As a CPA, Linda worked for public companies until she retired when she was 52. At that time, she became very involved with quilting. She was a certified instructor for Judy Niemeyer Quilting, teaching at many quilt shops in the Northwest. She received many awards for her quilting; she was very involved and held offices in various quilting guilds. Besides quilting, she loved gardening, had played soccer, ran marathons, hiked and loved her pets.

Funeral mass for Linda will be celebrated Tuesday, November 11,

2014 at 12:15 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 100 South 5th Street, Mt. Vernon, WA. A reception will follow at St. Joseph's Center, 215 North 15th Street, Mt. Vernon, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, PO Box 19024, Seattle, WA 98109.
