Gordon Evans Obituary
Gordon Griffin Evans, 70, passed away 1/14/15 in Bellevue WA from complications due to congestive heart failure. He departed surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Victoria Evans (Mast) and Daughter Deborah Evans Cesarini (Husband Matthew Cesarini) and Son Bryan Evans (Wife Christal Gacka Evans) and three adoring grandchildren McKenna Barker, Marianna Cesarini and Kenneth Evans. He is also survived by Sister Janice Evans O'Halloran, Sister in law Terri Mast, Sister in law Kathy Mast Jones and several nieces and nephews. Gordon graduated from Lincoln High, Seattle 1962. He joined the Navy and served his country for 4 years. He worked at the Seattle Times for 28 years. Gordon will be greatly missed for his kindness, love and wonderful sense of humor. Celebration of life service will be held at Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, on Tuesday 1/20/2015 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle
