Harry James Marasco

Born December 17, 1939 to Harry J Marasco and Elizabeth Coughlin Marasco in Lynn, MA; Harry died October 11, 2015 in Seattle.

He is survived by Barbara, his loving wife of 45 years; his son, Eric; siblings, Margaret E. Marasco and Charles W. Marasco (Mimi); his nieces and nephews; shipmates and friends.

Harry (Squeaky) served 21 years in the U S Navy. He was proud of being in the Navy and his shipmates. He graduated from Central Washington University with a BS in Safety Engineering. He worked for the VA Medical Center in Seattle and retired in 2006. He participated in Track and Field in High School, was good at playing pool, and followed the Bruins, Patriots, Seahawks and Celtics. He loved decorating cakes and eating Ice Cream and Italian food.

Harry was a "great people person" who was well liked. It was important to stay in touch with his shipmates thru the years. He felt close to his boyhood friends, remembered birthdays by sending cards and phone calls. He was an avid reader, liked watching TV shows, especially the Food Channel, and solving Sudoku puzzles.

Recitation of the Rosary will be

Thursday, October 22 at 7:00 PM

and the Funeral Mass will be Friday, October 23 at 11:00 AM BOTH at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church
