Fraternity brother at ASU, roommate and great friend. I'll forget watching " bullet" ski in Colorado and everyone in the slopes stopped to watch him! Amazing. Went home with him to Yakama and again flabbergasted at his waterskiing skill. Great friend.

I remember thinking at your wedding how lucky you were -- Chris Lewis seemed like the nicest guy in he world. (His cousin, Heidi, was one of my best buddies from camp as a kid. I thought, he has to be awesome!) He was handsome & kind. And totally in love with you. :-)
I will always remember a spontaneous trip to Hill's Resort on Priest with you guys & the boys. Such damn fun. We even stopped in Spokane like it was a vacation. Rooms at a hotel. I don't even think I told my family I was there, did I? Ha! We loved every minute! Then staying with you in Mad Park. Reunion times. Such fun!!!
Chris was the best of the best.
I regret not demanding more time with you and Chris. I should have demanded more. I thought the world of Chris. A truly lovely man.
I love you, Amy. I will demand more of you. Life is short.

Chris and I were fraternity brothers at ASU in 1968. We became fast friends shortly after he transferred from WSU. We lived together as roommates after we moved out of the frat house. Chris drove this suped up mustang axactly like the car in the movie "Bullit". This movie was know as the first to have an extended car chase and it was filmed in San Francisco ( my home town). This was Chris's name in Arizona. "Bullit" was a great friend and always was sporting that big grin of his. He got me a job at John Gardners Tennis Ranch in Scottsdale as a pool boy. It was a seven day a week job so Bullit and I split the days. One week he worked 4 days and I had 3, the next week, just the opposite. His parents were at The Carmel tennis ranch and arraigned for us to get this job.I will never forget slkiing with him in Colorado and actually watched people stop on the slope to see him ski downhill. I was in awe. He went straight down this double black diamond like it was s bunny slope. Amassing to watch.. one summer he invited me to Yakama and again, I was in awe as he water skied and actually bounced off his shoulders while turning. I had never seen a person that good. He was proud of his father's business, "Lester Loover Doors". The next summer I met them in Lake Washington for the annual Sea Fare" races. Lester had this great spot in the boom right in the race course. What a fun time we all had. Bullit will be missed by all and I can only say I'm so sorry for your unexpected loss. Memories of him will stay with me my entire life.

Chris " bullit' drove his 65 Mustang from Seattle to San Francisco, where he met me and his fellow SAE , my brother Paul Stuppi. We drove all night to get to Tempe, always showing up in August in triple digit heat.
We were room mates in Tempe, always having a blast, but a little studying as well.
We called our parents every few weeks telling tehm we always go to " the library"..The secret was " the library" was the best bar in Tempe. 25 cent beers!!!
What a great guy to know from ASU. Always with a smile, Chris will be missed

I started working with Chris last year and he always greeted me when I got to the shop with a hearty "Good morning butch!". He was always knew what to say if you were having a bad day. Even after leaving the shop I would stop by just to chat with Chris. He is an amazing individual and I am so honored that I was able to get to know him a little bit. Chris has impacted my life in more ways that I know.

So sorry to learn of Chris's passing. I have fond memories of hanging out with him in Sun Valley in the 70's and early 80's and later visiting him in Seattle. We watched the America's Cup off San Diego together in 1988. We lost touch in recent years but I never forgot him.
