Lester Earl Poole

Lester Earl Poole passed away 10/11/2017 at 88 years. He was born 6/24/1929 in Bend, Oregon to James and Ruth Poole. He and 5 siblings were raised in Mill City, Oregon. He graduated from Mill City HS in 1947. In 1951 he received a BS in civil engineering from Oregon State. (Master's in 1961.) He was in ROTC and served in the US Army in Germany after graduation. After discharge, he worked for the Oregon Hwy Dept. in Salem where he met his wife Doris. They married 7/10/1955. In 1956 they moved to Seattle. He joined John Graham Company, and eventually became Director of Engineering. After John Graham Company was sold, he did private consulting until retirement.

Preceding Les in death were his father, mother, and brother Lawrence. He is survived by his wife Doris, daughters Karen Poole and Diane Beasley, grandchildren Joseph, Abigail, Samuel, Grace, Hannah, Ruth and Chloe Beasley, sisters Kay and Delores, brothers Jim and Leo and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held

at 2:00 pm Saturday Feb 3 at First

Lutheran of Richmond Beach.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Lutheran Church of Richmond Beach, 18354 8th Ave NW, Shoreline.
