Herbert Cyril Hagerman

Herbert Cyril HAGERMAN Herbert Hagerman, 83, long time King County resident, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2004. Born October 15, 1920 in Toppenish, Yakima Co., Wash., he was a welder by trade. The past 26 years, "Herb" actively worked with the Alcoholics Anonymous association helping area Intergroups. For several years, he acted chairman of AA meetings at the King County Correctional Facility in Seattle. Herbert is survived by four children, Barbara J. Anthony (Gary) of Bellevue, William K. Hagerman (Marilyn) of Austin, Arkansas; Linda Hampshire (Mike) of Renton and Herbert D. Hagerman of Anchorage, Alaska; his brother, Cecil A. Hagerman of Buena, Washington and a sister Frances M. Ross of Newport, Oregon; his grandchildren, Daniel Hagerman, Lisa Shepard, Cherie Ellerbee, Todd Goe, Thomas Hagerman, Tammy Herekamp, Annette Hagerman, Jennifer Anthony, Aaron Hampshire, and Matthew Hagerman, by six grandchildren, Jessie Ellerbee, Brandon Herekamp, Jacob Ellerbee, Brandon Hagerman-McShane, Zachary Goe and Isabelle Goe; and numerous nieces and nephews. Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, William K. and Ruby Hagerman, former wife, Clara Hagerman, and three brothers, Lawrence A., Wilbert W. and George B. Hagerman. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 20, 2004, 2 p.m. at BONNEY-WATSON, 1732 Broadway, Seattle. Viewing will be held Friday, March 19, 2004, Noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until time of service. Family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts may be made to American Cancer Society.
