Sammy, what would we have done without you across the street from my folks for 30 years? All the crab and salmon we would have missed - and the stories! You taught me how to cook halibut cheeks and now I'm hooked (so to speak). You were a wonderful neighbor to my parents and one of the shining stars on the block. I can see you and Dad now, gossiping in the garden. All my love to you and Vi. May your seas be calm, now and forever.

Goodbye Uncle Sam, you will be sadly missed. You brought us all so many laughs, I will never forget playing cards with you and having you win all my quarters from me! I still have your life story that you had writen & will cherish it through out my life. You have been a great inspiration in my life & I will miss you...
