Dorothy Plack Nov. 7, 1937 - March 13, 2010 Residence: Carmel Valley, CA Age: 72 years old Dorothy went peacefully following a long, valiant battle against cancer. She fought to the end, always confronting her many obstacles along the way with courage, determination and hope. She enjoyed a relentless passion for life, and always shared her special smile, positive attitude and quick wit to lighten up a room no matter what news had been delivered. Dorothy lived her life with strength, courage, dignity and grace. Her sense of humor was always at the forefront of whatever was thrown at her. She was loyal, caring, full of life, funny, witty and the best friend a person could have. Passionate about her hobbies, she was creative, a talented decorator of her home and athletic. Whether she was diving, bowling, golfing or doing needlework, Dorothy excelled at everything she did. She lived life to the fullest with a calm, gentle nature. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Schools: Dorothy grew up in San Francisco, attending Lowell High School and San Francisco State University. Survived by beloved wife and best friend of Bernie Plack, for 52 years. Loving mother of David, Denise O'Regan and DiDi Norcross. Adored grandmother of Kevin, Scotty, Drew, Katie, Brian and Kim. Cherished mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. Friends and family are invited to attend services on Sunday, March 21, at 1 PM at: Mission Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove Ave., Seaside, CA. A Celebration of Dorothy's Life will take place following the service. Friends and family wishing to attend should contact [email protected] for more details.
