Sorry to be so late, Mal only just learned of this site from FSM. Wanted to thank you for your wit; for your always-informed and tremendous depth of commitment; your idealism uneroded by time; and, of course, for our many, many years of great friendship. From Molecular Biology and Virus Lab, to our shared quarters in Santa Rita, Bluemoon Pool Hall and adjoining Med Café, London demos, Bogart films (your perfect rendition of the Walter Huston Sierra Madre jig), VW engine rebuilds, great arguments and greater laughs. Thanks.
