On February 18, Christopher Morris Wroolie's six-year struggle with complications from Multiple Myeloma ended in the comfort of his Napa home surrounded by the warmth and love of his family and friends. A loving husband to Pamela Cosco Wroolie and a caring father to Taylor Ryan and Logan Christopher, his spirit and legacy will live on through the many lives he touched in his 63 years.
Born March 5, 1949 in San Francisco to Morris and Emily Cerefolini Wroolie, Chris grew up in San Carlos with his sisters Tonita and Sigrid Wroolie. While working as a young stock boy at a furniture store, Chris found a passion for in-home furnishings and interior design. His kind heart and dedicated work ethic resulted in his founding of two successful design companies, one in Los Angeles and one in the San Francisco Design Center.
In 2007 Chris was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma; although hindered by his disease, Chris' determination to live life to the fullest was as evident in his annual trip to Villefrance sur Mer as it was in the decadent dinners he frequently catered at his home in the Napa Valley.
A quiet patriarch, Chris' love of life and loyalty to those he cared for was unequaled; these qualities endeared him to all those who had the pleasure of his company.
His family invites you to celebrate his life on Wednesday February 27 from 2-4 pm at the SF Italian Athletic Club on 1630 Stockton St. in San Francisco.
Donations can be made to Multiple Myeloma or Amyloidosis research organizations.

I just heard this evening of your loss and I am so sorry I could not have been at Chris' service today. He was a very special person in my life and I will always cherish memories of his humor and friendship. As you know better than anyone, he was a wonderful person and I hope that your many, many happy memories help you through this very difficult time. Dear Pam, Taylor & Logan,
Chris was a great leader, and it was a priviledge to know him. His sense of humor, exhuberant laugh, kindness and generosity will be missed. I learned a lot from him in the years I worked for him. His support and advice to me as my boss and also as my friend were invaluable --particularly when my dad was fighting cancer. In a way, he was like a father to me -- he even came up with the same nickname my dad had for me without me telling him! (It was particularly uncanny when he would shout it like I was in trouble, but then ask me what I sold for him that day!)
He loved his family first and foremost, and I hope you find comfort in knowing that he is now healed. Much love to all of you--you are in my prayers.
