Earl B. Annecston

Long time Pacifica resident Earl B. Annecston died June 30th at the age of 87. He was born in Watertown, South Dakota in 1926. In 1949 he married Doris Citrin in San Francisco. He served in the Navy three times between 1943 and 1952. He was honorably discharged as Fireman V-6 USNR.

Earl was a member of IATSE #16 where he served as Sargent at Arms for many years. He spent his career working at all the major theatrical venues in San Francisco film production and conventions. He ended his career as house prop man at the Curran theatre. Earl was a loyal union member and devoted many hours to the labor movement.

In addition, Earl volunteered many hours at the Jewish Home of San Francisco and for the Democratic Party.

He was preceded in death by his wife Doris whom he adored for 56 years and his brother Russell Annecston. Earl is survived by his two children Harold of Oregon and Robert of Pacifica as well as three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A memorial will be held at Peninsula Del Rey located at 165 Pierce Street, Daly City, CA on August 10, from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to , in Earl's name.
