I have been thinking about this for a very long time and I don't even know if it will be seen or read...I started and it turned out to be a book...I will keep it short and sweet Francisco Street will never be the same. Many fond memories of the old timers growing up, fishermen, wine makers, the cooks...it was a little Italy just on that street. Antoinette was like a aunt to us and made us all her famous double layer chocolate cakes for most all occasions. I think my aim was pretty accurate for sending items of need through the our window her back stairs when to lazy to deliver it. She was of great aid and help when my mom got sick...and I am so happy that my family noticed something was not right when she had her first stroke and took action to get her help...so those that make fun of silly daily routines...don't because it saved her less time on the floor. I can go on and on for a life time of memories...it saddens me that we found out in a strange manner.
My family would visit every Sunday with the "white" dog....then we need to protect my father as he became a bit more fragile. I would visit when in SF with my kids...she loved my two as they loved her. She was always bubbly and made us laugh...good soul that is now resting in peace...she is missed by my whole family.
