Rachel Ramon Boschetti

Our beloved sister, Rachel Boschetti, 89, was reunited with the love of her life, Roger Boschetti, and her adored son, Dino Lopez, last Sunday, May 16, 2021. She missed them terribly.
Rachel was born in Austin, Texas on February 2, 1932 to Lorenza and Brijido Ramon, her dear parents. She was the eldest of five siblings, Virginia Gurule, Brigido Ramon, Jr., Aldo Ramon and Diana Landin. Rachel is survived by her brothers, Brigido (Rich) Ramon, Aldo Ramon, and her stepdaughters, Rogine Couch and Zita Johnson who called her Mama Rachel. She will be missed by her grandson, Samuel Kent, and his children, Anthony, Max and Cody. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends, from California to Texas. She loved her family and kept in touch with everyone.
Rachel and Roger lived life large. They traveled the world and met many people and made many friends. She even met the Pope. She was a hard-working woman who owned her own business. She was the proprietor of Rachel's Glamour Nest at 18th and Castro Street, and later on Mission Street in San Francisco, a very popular beauty salon. She specialized in beehive hairdos. She also earned her real estate license. The Italian community in San Francisco was very special to Rachel and Roger where she supported all his endeavors.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the service will be family only. Rachel will be laid to rest at the Italian Cemetery in Colma.
