January 7, 1924 - November 9, 2018

Died peacefully at home on November 9, 2018 at the age of 94. Catherine was also known as "Kay" to her many friends. Catherine was predeceased by her loving parents, John and Anna Parac, and her loving sister, Eleanor Parac. Catherine was also predeceased by her cousins Anthony & Marion Srok (children of Aunt Sophie & Uncle Paul Srok), cousins Katherine Pavlovich and her son Stan Pavlovich, Jerry & Frances Pericic and Marie Cetinich (children of Aunt Maria & Uncle Frank Pericic). She is also predeceased by her Aunt Elizabeth Babick. She leaves behind many loving cousins and other beloved family and friends both here and Croatia and her dear friends, the Cetinich sisters in Hayward.

Catherine worked for the Social Security Administration for many years and was an astute business woman ahead of her time. She was a member of the Croatian Cultural Center of San Francisco and the Croatian Fraternal Union of America Yerba Buena Lodge 900, which was founded by her father in San Francisco in 1939.

Friends are invited to attend the Vigil Service on Wednesday, November 14 at 7:00PM at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City. Interment will be on Thursday, November 15 at 11am in the All Saints Mausoleum at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made in Catherine's name to the Croatian Fraternal Union Scholarship Fund, 100 Delaney Dr., Pittsburgh, Pa 15235 or the Croatian Cultural Center of San Francisco.
