Corianna Kai Seelig-Gustafson
February 27, 1977 - October 18, 2018

Born on February 27, 1977 in Denton, Texas, Corianna spent her formative years in Houston and Dallas, Texas, moving to San Francisco in 2008. Corianna dedicated the last 19 years of her life as a nurse, caring for patients mostly in Pediatric Oncology. The first years were at Children's Medical Center in Dallas and the last 10 years at UCSF.

Corianna was a bright light that shined everywhere she went. She generously gave her time to others while placing their challenges before her own. She was born a healer and was a fierce patient advocate becoming highly respected among all her colleagues. Her humor was off the charts which was welcomed relief during tough days and hard moments in and out of the hospital. Her natural wit was unmatched.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. Her seven-year old daughter, Clara Skye, and husband, Dr. Clay Gustafson, created a wonderful life and home filled with pets, family and countless friends. Every single person whose life was touched by Corianna felt blessed beyond measure.

Corianna is survived by her husband, Clay; daughter, Clara Skye; father, Tim Seelig and husband, Dan England; mother, Vicki Crawford and husband, Tom; brother, Judson Crawford and wife, Juliana; grandfather, John Earl Seelig; parents in-law, Bill Gustafson, Debi Bletko; godfather, Gary Welch; sister and brother in-law, Christen and Scott O'Neal; Cousins, John Mark and Laura Seelig, Stephanie and Jeffrey Richardson, and countless nieces, nephews and friends that were like family.

A celebration of Corianna's life will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 3:00pm at Nourse Theater, 275 Hayes Street, San Francisco.
