Elizabeth Haverstock Adler
Passed away August 5th in her home in Mill Valley. Born September 28, 1912 in Minneapo-lis to Alice Minard Cleaveland and William Haverstock, Elizabeth attended Carleton College and the University of Minnesota before moving to California with her first husband, John Hall. She worked in California as a public health educator and taught at the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1943 she married Nathan Adler of New York City, a clinical psychologist. She is survived by brother William averstock of Virginia; daughters, Judith, Marianna and Elisa, their children, Antony, Renata, Selena and Aaragon; son- in-law, Alejandro Jayo; and friend of more than seven decades, Phyllis Hecker.
