Laura Jean Baldocchi
March 25, 1930-April 18, 2021
After a long illness, Laura Baldocchi passed away on April 18, 2021 with her family near. Laura grew up in North Beach and raised her three boys in the Marina. She was the glue that kept the family together. She married the love of her life Leo Baldocchi in 1948 and they remained married for nearly 57 years until his passing in 2005. In the 1970's Laura entered the work force and worked at local restaurants for the next 25 years. She enjoyed interacting with customers and co-workers and made new friends easily. She was outgoing, confident, and kind and always brought her smile to the "Front of the House." In 1996 after the death of her eldest son Stephen Baldocchi she became less active and stayed closer to home, taking care of Leo and her grandchildren. Laura is survived by her sons Paul (Phyllis) Robert (Patty), her grandchildren Danielle, Nicholas, Anthony, Diana and Patrick and great grandchildren Ella, Maximus, Ryder, Sofia, and Ezra. The family would like to give a special thanks to Jovita and Jocelyn Bishop and the entire staff at Penngrove Gardens for taking such great care of Laura in her last years and Petaluma hospice for their care in her final days. Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Petaluma or the Salesians Boys and Girls Club.

Robbie and the Baldocchi Family,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. I will say a prayer for her and her entire family. Clearly she had a full and rich life. I hope she had a chance to see you on the mound, maybe with me at Parkmerced, the best lefty/righty combo in the city.
