Patrick Wong Officer Patrick Wong of Orinda, CA, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2007, after suffering a stroke on September 22. Pat was 52. He was born in San Francisco and attended Lowell High and UC Berkeley. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for skiing, sailing, and scuba diving, and he could be found doing any of these activities, always with his family and friends. Pat joined the Highway Patrol in 1980 in the San Francisco office and was an active officer at the time of his passing. Beloved husband of Carolyn; and loving father of Jennifer and Catherine. Pat was a one of a kind person who truly believed that it is better to give than to receive. He is survived by his wife and daughters; parents, Ki and Nora; and brothers Randy and Allan. He will be greatly missed by his family, his many friends and his colleagues at the Highway Patrol. Visitation Tue, Oct. 9, 6-8pm, Oakmont Memorial Park, 2099 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette. Memorial Service Wed, Oct. 10, 2pm, Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church, 1801 Lacassie Ave., Walnut Creek. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the CAHP Found, Cameron House, or the SF General Hospital Found.
