Ronald Smialowicz Obituary
Ronald K. Smialowicz, MD

Our beloved Ronald K. Smialowicz, MD, (Ron) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 4, 2018. Loving father of Susanne Doring (Christian), Alexa Bastelica (Daniel) and Sarah Mills (Samuel). Devoted grandfather of Jack, Dominic, Cecilia and Benjamin. Dear brother of Chester Robert Smialowicz, MD (Barbara). Devoted uncle of Andrew, Amanda, and Robert. He is also survived by his longtime loving friend and companion, Carole Harper, his best furry friend, Ella, and many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and very close friends.
Ron was a proud second generation Polish American, born November 23, 1945, in New Brunswick, NJ to Virgina Aleski and Chester Smialowicz. A graduate of Seton Hall Prep 1964, Villanova University 1968, and Georgetown University School of Medicine 1972. He passionately practiced medicine as a urologist in San Francisco for three decades where he was known and respected by many. Though Ron routinely visited the east coast in all seasons, he recently moved back to his cherished home state of New Jersey where he was able to spend time with his local family and friends. He was a proud member of The Polish Arts and Cultural Foundation, The Kosciuszko Foundation, and long-time supporter of fine arts and music, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Ron will be most remembered for his generosity, positivity, and pride for his heritage and family.

Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's memory may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 820, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
