I´m just finding out about your passing and I wish we had stayed in touch. You were a good friend to me during some difficult times. You were very generous with your time and efforts for the needy. I will always have fond memories of our time together.

The courage you had in dealing with your devastating illness was as great as the curiosity and thirst for knowledge you had during your life. R.I.P. Doug

Goodbye, dearest. The list of your enjoyments is too short: you were the greatest appreciator of all that life had to offer that I shall ever know. Sail on, sail on.
