Kathleen Albert

Kathleen Albert, 68, of San Francisco, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Kathleen is survived by her loving partner of 23 years, Madeline Pfeiffer, and their beloved dog Csilla, and two sons, Sean and Ian Prichard from a former marriage. Kathleen ran WITHCARE, a small day care and preschool in Noe Valley, for over 23 years. She instilled in all of the children she cared for a love of learning, kindness, and an abiding commitment to community. She was a tremendously dedicated teacher, devoted friend, passionate Giants fan, and a deeply generous community member. Donations may be made in Kathleen's memory to either the San Francisco Food Bank (http://www.sffoodbank.org), Lindsay Wildlife Museum (http://wildlife-museum.org) or Project Night Night (http://projectnightnight.org).
