I was just out of High School and working on Vespa motor scooters when I first met Bob at Western Scooters Distributors on Custer Ave. in San Francisco. He was an amazing "gentleman".
I have often thought of him through the years and wondered of his true stature and accomplishment in life.
He offered me the position of being Vespa's National Service Manager at no pay. I jumped at the opportunity which assured me a spot in Bob's big heart and allowed me additional discounts whenever possible on my orders.
We lost contact by the early eighties. But as you can tell he is a man to be missed.
With a loving heart,
Bob Oliver

William Remenesperger Jr. and I were best friends in grammar school at San Rafael Military Academy through 1947 and then Lowell High School to 1951. I assume Robert is a brother or cousin. I recall a sister Nancy. Sadly Bill passed long ago, but widow Nina still lives in Santa Paula, CA.
Robert and Betty lived in the same Sun City, Lincoln Hills Del Webb community, although we didn't move until 2007.
My heart goes out to Betty and the family for the loss.
God Bless You, Rick Bradley

I don't know where my message went that I did with the photo, so I will try again.
William Remensperger Jr. was my best friend in grammar school at San Rafael Military Academy to the 8th grade in 1947 and the we were at Lowell High School together to 1951. I assume Robert is a brother or cousin. I believe I remember a sister Nancy. Sadly Bill passed long ago and his widow Nina still lives in Santa Paula, CA.
My heart goes out to Betty and the family for their loss.
I now live in the same community as Betty. We moved to Sun City, Lincoln Hills in 2007. Small World. God Bless You! Rick Bradley
