I am late on this as I discovered this saddened news on the Norte Vista Facebook group. Mr. Weber taught my science class in 1994 as a freshman and then became the ASB teacher. I remember his vibrant spirit as an educator, always happy, keeping it positive with his students. You made such a positive impact on NoVi. Condolences to family and loved ones. R.I.P. Mr. Weber.

There will never be a friend or teacher like John. Very, very few people have selflessness and altruism as an innate character trait. John never turned any one away and always found a way to make you, the individual, feel like the most important person in the world. You mattered to him. You weren't just another number, another person, another student, or another friend. You were important to him. I will miss John as a colleague, but I will miss him most as a friend. John, you are most loved. Life will not be the same without you as an individual, a friend, a teacher, a colleague, a partner and an individual.
