Ann Seibert
September 20, 1932 - May 9, 2018

Ann was born in Colorado to Leo and Marcella Dillon. She was an only Child. She remained in the State until about the end of 5th grade. World War II started and her folks moved to the Seattle area to work in the defense factories there. At the end of the war they moved to Phoenix where she finished her schooling. She enrolled in Arizona State University and took the teacher training program. When she graduated there were many recruiters from California looking for teachers. She and 5 other young ladies chose Glendora School District and they found housing for all at the old Singer Home. Her second year she and another young lady found an apartment for that year. Bill was going from school to school teaching folk and round dancing to 4th and 5th and 6th graders. She casually met Bill as a fellow teacher. Later Bill encouraged her to enter the adult Square Dance Class he was teaching. She came with teachers from her school to the class. After knowing her better in that situation he began taking her home from class and he would visit with her and her roommate. After a few months one night he didn't go in and they talked and he asked her to marry him and she said yes. They planned a wedding for the spring break that year but her folks wanted it Pueblo, Colorado. So this took more planning but it all worked out and their honeymoon was their car trip back to Glendora. Bill had a house already so it was easy to move in and begin their life together. They had two boys, now grown men. Eric is the head of the meat market in a large store in Farmington, MO. He also has a small ranch where he grows food and feeds cattle. He presented her with 5 grandkids, and 10 great grandkids. Other son after searching for the right job ended up as a Missionary in Asia. He married a missionary girl from Holland and they gave Ann and Bill two more grandchildren. Their daughter has been living with Ann and Bill for the last two years to finish her education here in the states.
Her husband Bill continued working in the Education field until he retired. On April 2 this year they celebrated 62 years of marriage and were hoping for more so family and friends were totally unprepared for her death. We know she is with Jesus for she was a strong Christian all her life.
Services will be at the Glendora Vineyard Church at
10:00 A.M. Saturday May 19, 2018.
