19 Mar 1943 - 4 Sep 2018On September 4, 2018, Eileen Colley passed from the challenges of this life into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father; as she was reverently encircled by her family. The eldest of four children she was born March 19, 1943 at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Captain Gordon E. and Arlene Neilson She grew up in Arizona, Japan and Oahu Hawaii where she graduated from Kahuku High School and enjoyed performing traditional dances at the precursor to the Polynesian Cultural Center. A lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served a church mission in the Alaskan Canadian Mission after moving with her family to Covina, Ca. It was there that she met and eventually married her Eternal companion Galen T. Colley.She is survived by her husband and three children, Sean Colley (Tiffany) Evan Colley (Denise) and Rachel Colley Critchlow (Matt) as well as four grandchildren; Gilbert, Carrie, Drake, and Everett. Also her siblings Jolene Bennett (Marion), Gordon, and Arthur (Katrina). She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as an infant son Thomas Everett. Even though she suffered many painful medical problems throughout her life, she very seldom complained and was always quick to be a listening ear, and share kind words, with her warm smile and happy laugh. She was truly an angel long before she left this Earthly life. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,656 S Grand Ave, in Covinaon Sat.
