Ronald R. Gaunt Obituary
Ron Gaunt passed away December 30, 2017 from lung cancer. He was 73 years of age. He spent the last years of his life doing what he loved. He will be missed.

His parents, Roy and Gertrude, came to California from Missouri in Ron's early years with his sisters, Lawanda, Flora, Dorothy and Janice.

Ron joined the Navy during the Vietnam era. He became a police officer with Covina PD, graduating from Pepperdine University with a business degree, while working nights. He then transferred to Inglewood PD to become a K-9 officer. Retiring from Inglewood PD, he began his canine bomb and narcotic detection business, Travel'n Mandogs. During this period, he joined with Amy Herot, Jill Marie O'Brien to become the founders of NACSW.

Ron is survived by his family; Linda, Julie & Foster, Daryl & Annette, Christopher, Christina, Lawanda, Dorothy, Janice & Chico, Bill & Teresa, including more nephews, nieces and cousins.
