LEVIN, Stanley H.


Stanley H. Levin passed away, January 15th, 2018; he was 94 years young. He lived his life guided by the principles of Judaism, with his focus on his family. Stan was a "Mensch", which, in the Jewish faith means "a person of integrity and honor". He was kind, selfless, intelligent, and generous. Stan always had a smile on his face, a sparkle in his eyes, and a calm disposition. He was always the gentleman, and when asked how he was, would always reply with: "Fine and Dandy, thank you"!
Stan was committed to "Tikkun Olam" which, in the Jewish faith means "repair of the world". He became an active member in the PTA, elected to the Glendora Unified School Board of Education, an active member of the La Fetra Center Computer Club, involved in local politics, and a volunteer at the Glendora Library.
Stan is survived by his wife Nina of 64 years; his daughters Judith, Amy and Laurie, son Andrew, grandson, Zander, and son-in-law, Josef.
A service was held on January 18th at Mount Sinai in Los Angeles. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Temple Beth Israel, Pomona, CA.
