Fischer, Bill
Bill Fischer, 63, of Plymouth passed away unexpectedly at his home. Bill was the son of the late Fred and Lucille (Stubler) Fischer. He was born August 2, 1950.
Bill served in the U.S. Army from 1970 through 1973. He then had a long career with Verizon as a Central Office Equipment Installer, retiring from Verizon in 2009.
Bill loved to golf, play drums, listen to music and travel - especially to someplace warm during the winter. Bill enjoyed the time he spent with his special group of Fore-Ever Friends golfing, playing sheepshead, taking trips and just hanging out. He had a special love for his children and grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his four children; Jason (Elkhart Lake), Carrie (Appleton), Bryan (Sheboygan) and Andrew (Milwaukee) - three grandchildren; Nasir, Jada and Aaliyah - brother Bob (Donita) of Denver and sister Stacey of Appleton. Bill touched many people's lives and will be truly missed.
An open house celebration of Bill's life will be held at Sir Lanserlot Golf Course, W6603 County Road C, on Friday, October 11, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, for friends to join the family and remember Bill.
A memorial fund has been established in Bill's name.

Well, a reunion this weekend of a different kind. I thought for sure you would be among the old friends I look so forward to seeing. I remember the good times... the 60's, the band, and our "group gatherings". Memories to keep forever. Rest in peace Bill

Bill,
I was privileged to have shared a friendship with you for 52 years. Thank you for all our time together. Our road was long, though not long enough, and our adventures many, but still too few. I was your catcher in little league, band member, travel companion to Woodstock, and golf partner. We were friends though good times and bad. Words cannot express my sorrow at this moment. I will miss you, always love you and never forget you. Good-bye my friend,
Jetz
