Robert R. Reznichek, age 85 of 1235 S 14th St, Manitowoc, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, August 30, 2013 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 12, 1928 in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Edward and Lorina (Zipperer) Reznichek. On August 4, 1951 Bob married Florence Kelling in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on June 13, 1987. Bob was employed with Manitowoc Shipbuilding for 33 years retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Center and St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Bob was an avid Polka dancer. He taught himself to play the accordion at 8 years old. Bob was also a member of the accordion club. He loved watching the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers and also enjoyed playing bingo.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Donald and Anne Reznichek, Sheboygan; five daughters and four sons-in-law: Catherine and Robert Pribyl, Manitowoc, Ann and Jim Burkart, Whitelaw, Karen and Ricky Jones, Manitowoc, Sandy and Bob Gleason, Illinois, Betty (Dan Brault) Olivera, Manitowoc, 14 grandchildren: David Reznichek, Aaron (Mandy) Reznichek, Danny (Shelly) Reznichek, Scott Pribyl, Jason (Angie) Pribyl, Terry Pribyl, Shawn (Erin) Jones, April Jones, Zachary Gleason, Joshua Gleason, Brad (Shauna) Olivera, Melanie Olivera, Nicole (Andy) Hennes, and Rachel (Adam) Huss; 20 great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Leonard Reznichek, Manitowoc, Edward and Donna Reznichek, Taus and Carol Reznichek, Manitowoc; two brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Robert and Verla Kelling, Elkhart Lake, Alvin and Sandy Kelling, Sheboygan, Darlene Kruschke, Glenbeulah and Jeannette Wendland, Kansasville. He is further survived by a special friend: Mary Jane Swoboda, Reedsville, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by one infant daughter, granddaughter-in-law: Carrie Pribyl, sister and brother-in-law: Georgiana and Leroy Hill, brother: John Reznichek, sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Antoinette and John Masarik, two brothers-in-law: James Kruschke and Eugene Wendland and his mother and father-in-law: Alvin and Margaret Kelling.

Funeral Services for Robert will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. A Prayer Service will conclude the visitation at 7:00 P.M, led by Deacon Paul Kiefffer. The visitation will continue on Wednesday morning, September 4, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:15 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo.

A memorial fund has been established in Robert's name.
