Robert E. O'Neil

Sheboygan - Robert E. O'Neil age 82 of Sheboygan, formerly of St. Germain passed away peacefully Friday May 14, 2021 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

Robert was born February 22, 1939 in Petoskey, MI to Wallace and Virginia (Boyington) O'Neil. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Navy serving from 1957 to 1962. On September 13, 1958 Bob was united in marriage to Patricia Kedder in Chicago.

In 1974 Robert and Patricia moved to Sheboygan where he worked for Wisconsin Power and Light until his retirement in 1997. After retirement, Robert moved to St. Germain where he spent much of his free time volunteering at the Howard Young Medical Center. He returned to Sheboygan in 2018.

Robert enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, hunting, casino trips, and above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his children: Robin (Richard) Wagner of Orland Park, IL, Patrick (Hollie) O'Neil of Sheboygan, and Karen (Paul) Carenen of Orland Hills, IL. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Shelley Wagner, Katie (Brian) Dizonno and Dani and Paul "Rob" Carenen, other relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Patricia and his parents, Wallace and Virginia O'Neil.

A private celebration of Robert's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice would be appreciated.
